Your First Step Toward Becoming A Real Estate Agent: The RES Course Guide 2023 RES Course 2023

The Real Estate Salesperson (RES) Course: What Is It?

All aspiring real estate agents are required to take the RES Course Singapore Toa Payoh in order to get the information and abilities required by the profession.

It makes sense to have a course to train agents for that as the function of a real estate agent is a complex one that requires understanding and adhering to various laws, regulations, and carrying out property transactions properly, among other things.

Before someone can start working as a real estate salesperson, they MUST complete the RES Course (RES). And the fact that you are reading this post probably indicates that you have some lingering questions about getting into the real estate business or that you have already decided to start on this thrilling path.

This RES Course Guide 2022 will begin by discussing how to choose your Approved Course Provider (ACP) and providing an overview of the various ACPs.

What ACP Should You Select for Your RES Course?

Literally, approximately 90% of people who want to enroll in the RES Course ask this question. Actually, a few of you have told me “rumors” that which ACP is superior than the other.

In all honesty, I really think that any ACP is capable of supplying candidates with the breadth of information specified by the CEA curriculum. Many people are unaware that the most essential factors in learning are not your ACP or your training (although these factors may have some bearing on your experience), but rather your available time and learning habits.

Course Timing for RES

Some of you could still be working full-time, in which case you might only have a limited amount of time to devote to the course. Before the ACP issues you a Certificate of Completion, you must have at least 75% attendance. You might choose an ACP that offers evening or weekend programmes if you have a 9 to 5 job. While individuals with more unpredictable work schedules may opt for the weekend class.

You’re Pattern of Study

You’re learning style and aptitude should be taken into account as well. For some people, spending 7-8 hours in a class or on Zoom may be a breeze, but for others, it might be a complete nightmare! For an extended amount of time, you must consider your degree of attention. The last thing you want in an eight-hour class is for your brain to shut down after two hours. Following that, nothing is added.

With that said, I must emphasise that before selecting the best ACP, you should first consider your time and learning capacity. Then let’s get started with the RES Course Provider ACPs!

RES Exam: Points to Remember

Fearful of the exams? Here are some things to be aware of that will be useful.

There are two papers in the RES Examination (Paper 1 and Paper 2)

The format of both Paper 1 and Paper 2 is as follows beginning in 2023:

60 MCQs in Section A (60 marks)

Section B has 20 multiple-choice questions with references to one or two case studies (40 marks)

Each paper takes around 2.5 hours.

Paper 1 asks you about:

“Real Estate Agency Industry Overview and Basic Land Law Concepts” is the subject of Competency Unit 1. The second competency unit, “Dealing with Land Interests,”

Paper 2 asks you about:

“Regulation of the Real Estate Agency Industry and Real Estate Marketing” is the subject of Competency Unit 3.

The fourth competency unit, “Property Transactions,”

In all honesty, I really think that any ACP is capable of supplying candidates with the breadth of information specified by the CEA curriculum. Many people are unaware that the most essential factors in learning are not your ACP or your training (although these factors may have some bearing on your experience), but rather your available time and learning habits.
